    Ah yes, rasters. I deal with rasters every day. I also work with vectors as well.

    If you take a low resolution raster image and enlarge it to immense proportions, it will become very boxy, or as we say in the business: "pixelated".

    Just be sure you don't call it "pickelated" as someone at my workplace once said. I tried not to laugh.
